Brandy bowl, composed of six convex segments, decorated with relief and engraved representations of Hope, Faith, Love, Justice, Temperance and Strength

Brandy bowl: the body and foot of the brandy bowl are built up from six convex segments. The separation of the foot and the body is formed by a recessed, profiled band stamped with a repeating pattern of cabochons and lozenges. The foot rim is relief-decorated with alternating winged angels and bunches of fruit. Two cast, reclining ears are attached to the bowl, each with a relief angel's head, surrounded by an openwork frame composed of C-scrolls, scrollwork, dolphins, griffin heads, and a lily. On the side panels of the bowl, within a frame composed of C-scrolls, griffins, and two kissing doves, is set an oval medallion with engraved scenes of standing female figures with attributes. They personify, in order: Hope, Love, Faith, Temperance, Justice, and Strength.
