About this work

Band of brocaded silk with naturalistic design: upward-rising, undulating flower and leaf vines in two shades of green, pink, salmon, two shades of blue, black, lilac and pale lilac (brocading) and gold (liseré). At the right selvage an inserted number: 3555. On a tacked note (ca. 1978-1990) the letter P. Condition: dirty, but suitable for exhibition.
