About this work
Fragment of brocaded Gros de Tours with a liseré effect, consisting of three fragments sewn together. Design: vertical zigzag floral and leafy scrolls in various shades of pink and ochre on a yellow ground, with two leaves in silver having a bizarre character, on a green ground with a liseré effect. Pinned paper note with the letter E. salmon, pink and white in the spaces on a pink ground.
