About this work
Lantern of copper, circular with a slightly fluted bottom plate on three solid bulbous feet, with an upstanding beaded edge and a circular beaded upper rim. Between them eight windows, one hinged, with flat baluster-shaped mullions and rails. Dome in three sections separated by profiled edges with openwork vine decoration. The lower section is flattened and bulbous. On this a solid knob with a hook. On the inside a tin plate with two candleholders.
