About this work

Bowl, globular and convex, on a footring. Grey-white body, inside covered with brown-grey slip, on which three stylized flying birds (feathers indicated by sgraffito lines) are modeled in relief in white slip, amidst vine and leaf motifs in white slip as relief. A similar band with leaf motifs along the upper edge. The whole covered with transparent colorless alkaline glaze. The outside is not covered with slip but only with a colorless transparent alkaline glaze, under which are cobalt-blue and black dots; a cobalt-blue letter mark followed by three black dots.
