About this work

Cabinet made of fruitwood with wide chamfered corners at the front. The cabinet stands on high legs at all corners. The turned legs, with a brass casing at the bottom, widen towards the top and have a black-painted band at the top. The front and side panels consist of a framework surrounded by a black-painted border. The front has an open space with shelves at the bottom and a drawer above. A green velvet curtain hangs in front of the open space. The drawer has a brass ring as a handle. On the top of the cabinet is a grey-veined marble slab inset.
