About this work

Hat of natural straw braid with a wide brim and flat crown, surrounded by a wide brown velvet band and circles of straw braid. Model: large, flat crown with a depression and bulge in the center. Wide wavy brim. Under the crown at the back, a band of black velvet, reinforced with brass or metal wire. Attached to this is a fine-mesh black voile. The crown is lined with black and white twill cotton.
