About this work

Mirror of gilded lime wood. The mirror glass has a late Louis XIV shape surrounded by a substantial frame. The frame is decorated with a dense sequence of C-scrolls with rocailles, between which are flowers, reeds, lupine-like forms with a rock structure, wings, feathers, shells, and a dragon's head, and is crowned by a crest.
