About this work

Linen damask napkin. Central field: mirrored pattern and festoons symbolizing three of the four seasons. From top to bottom: 1 putti with ears of corn and a sickle; 2 putti with flowers and a flower basket; 3 putti on chairs warming their hands at a fire. Below, branches with oak leaves. Running borders: double borders with scrolling floral garlands. No horizontal borders. Checkerboard pattern on the four sides.
