About this work
Underpants with short legs for a child, of white cotton tricot with a waistband of twill cotton, marked with cross-stitches of red silk 'vR'. The waistband is wide at the front and has three scalloped buttonholes; at the back it is narrow and has a white bias tape as a tie at each end. The legs have a hem. Marked in the left side seam.
