About this work

Rectangular monochrome stained glass pane with allegorical representation of Rhetoric, one of the liberal arts. She is here represented as a young woman sitting in a loom chair and listening to a speech by a young man. The pane is set in a 19th-century glass frame. This frame shows men's heads in the four corners.
