About this work
Rectangular monochrome stained glass pane with allegorical representation of Geometry, one of the liberal arts. She is here represented as a young woman with a castle on her head with a compass measuring the large world globe lying on the ground. Two men on the left follow her measurement with interest. The pane is set in a 19th-century glass frame. This frame shows lion heads in the four corners.
