About this work
A walking nude woman in bronze. She holds a dagger before her chest with her right hand. Her left hand is directed sideways; her head is turned away (to the right) from the direction of movement, as if she does not wish to witness her impending suicidal act. The woman wears a small crown in her hair. The bronze is mounted on a red/grey-white veined marble base (19th century).
