About this work
Frontal bust of a bald gentleman with a mustache and goatee, head slightly tilted sideways, resting on a volute-shaped support ending in a round stepped base. Inscription on the volute: PAUL VOUTE and signed: Fecit Maja Serger van Panhuys, Roma 1927; The bust is accompanied by a dark green marble columnar base with a copper inscription plate: United Klatten Cultural Society to its president-commissioner Mari Paul Voûte, offered on the occasion of his seventieth birthday, June 6, 1926.
