About this work
Belt, silver, partially gilded. The lower strap consists of two parts, each built up from S-shaped links and closed by straight connecting pieces. The connecting pieces decorated with angels and flowers. The parts are interrupted by an oval, lobed loop, and run out on one side into a buckle plate with hook and on the other side into an eye. Marked on the connecting pieces with master's mark P above HW and star in oval (unidentified master's mark). On the clasp additionally city mark eagle with spread wings and head to the left (Frankfurt am Main).
