About this work
Cees van der Leeuw (1890-1973) was the owner-director of the Van Nelle coffee, tea and tobacco company. In addition to a state-of-the-art factory, he also had architect Van der Vlugt design his residence. Everyone has an equal place at this round dinner table and can easily serve themselves thanks to the turntable.
