About this work
The clasp consists of two parts, each shaped as a trapezium with a rounded top. A symmetrical openwork pattern of an abstracted tree with berries is set within a broad rounded border. The fastening pin is lined with a broad gold strip, flanked on both sides by a ribbed edge. Seven cassettes for cabochon-cut amazonites are soldered onto the fastening pin, accompanied at the corners by small beads.
