About this work
This three-part flageolet (upper part with mouthpiece; head; lower part) is of the French flageolet type, with four finger holes at the front and two holes at the back. It is made of boxwood with horn rings. In the wood of the head there is a hairline crack at the bottom while some horn rings show slight damage.
