About this work

Four-part traverso entirely made of boxwood with a brass key, preserved in excellent and playable condition. Tuning approx. a-440 Hz. As a one-key traverso, it is a conservatively constructed instrument for its time of origin. Stamp: 'DUBOIS & STODART / NEW YORK'.
