About this work
Cream-colored, pear-shaped teapot with lid. The teapot is decorated on both sides in low relief with a large shell and a small head flanked by dolphins, and has a spout in the shape of an animal's head. The neck is modeled with flowers and branches. The lid is fitted with a baluster knob and decorated with a relief of two shells and two flowers.
