About this work

Teapot with lid. The teapot is polychrome painted in green, gray, brown, and yellow oxide colors and then dipped in a transparent lead glaze. The lower half is decorated with basket relief and the upper half features fruits in relief. The lid is attached to the handle with a silver chain topped by a silver cupido holding a sunflower in each hand.
