About this work
Round chestnut basket with lid on a splayed foot. The basket is provided with relief decorations of floral scrollwork, ears of corn and ovals. On both sides are two handles of double-braided cords with floral and leaf terminals. The pierced lid consists of scrolls, ears of corn and a flower bud.
