About this work

Spherical teapot with lid, provided with a silver chain and a silver spout guard. The double-twisted handle is accented with flower appliques and the spout is decorated with an acanthus leaf relief. The lid is crowned by a flower bud. The teapot is decorated with an underglaze blue chinoiserie decoration consisting of a landscape with trees and a pagoda.
