About this work
Flat base. Funnel-shaped body cut in vertical facets, depicting a man in 18th-century costume with a riding whip and a three-cornered hat, surrounded by rococo ornaments. The reverse side also features rococo floral ornaments. The upper rim is gilded. On the base, the signature J L W (Joseph and Ludwig Wien).
