About this work
Sugar bowl with lid of painted porcelain. The bowl has a domed lid with a knob in the shape of a flower. The sugar bowl is decorated with floral bouquets and, along the rim, a broad band with stripes in gold on a rose ground, always edged with a rocaille ornament in gold. The sugar bowl is marked.
