About this work

Jug painted with a scattered pattern of blue cornflowers and with gilded edges along the rims. Marked: M.O.L. and Amstel in blue underglaze. The jug has an inverted conical body, a wide projecting spout with a wavy rim and a rocaille-shaped handle; it has relief leaf vines along the foot and neck and is edged with gold along all rims.
