About this work
Strip of natural-colored needle lace - reticella - between borders of open needlework: drawn thread work. The repeating and symmetrical pattern consists of one row of squares, which are built up from four small squares. Each large square is crossed, at each intersection alternately a small densely worked and a large openwork circle. Along the edges half circles. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight with open diamonds (drawn thread work).
