About this work
Square cloth of natural-colored cutwork embroidery. Pattern with a square built up from four small squares. Each small square is divided by a diagonal line, with on the outside a 'rising sun' and on the inside a triangle. Together this creates in the large square a diamond shape with a four-pointed star in the middle. Around the large square on all sides a border with rectangles, filled with bundles of threads or with a dense grid work with openwork diamonds. On all sides a finished border in hemstitching.
