About this work
On a fine lattice ground, a Mechelen ground (also called ice ground), stand inward and outward symmetrical triangular medallions crowned with leaf rosettes and filled with lattice work. Below and above stand smaller reserves, including two spreading twigs with a large hanging flower and a rising flower cluster. This is the outer strip of the collar. The inner strip of Binche lace is identical to BK-BR-J-139: Strip of bobbin lace with large tulip.
