About this work
Cap crown of natural-coloured Brussels bobbin lace. Symmetrical pattern. In a large lobed cartouche stands a sturdy flower vase, on a foot and filled with flower branches, large leaves and a central rosette. The cartouche shows an open zigzag contour, flowing inward into a fine flower vine. On the outside stand three fan-shaped cartouches decorated with very rich meshwork, as well as a very large support, in the middle at the bottom. As decorative grounds, snowflake grounds are applied among others. Above hang two pumpkins in the cartouche, below hang two in the corners on blossom branches, which sprout in the cartouche.
