About this work

Guimpe of natural-coloured bobbin lace: duchess lace. Rectangular model with slightly widened ends. The background, half trellis ground, half plait ground, is divided by an arch border. On the trellis ground are some scattered twigs with berries and a border of 'buttercups' on stems.
