About this work
Chair of walnut, upholstered in tripp. The chair has splayed legs, connected by an H-shaped cross and a central stretcher, all also splayed. The tripp shows a pattern of red and green pomegranates on a ground of sheared pile. The fringe has small upright tassels above a fringe head. The back posts are covered. One of a series of three chairs (inv. no. BK-KOG-1443-a to -c).
