About this work
Stipple-engraved glasses by Frans Greenwood (1680–1763) and Aert Schouman (1710–1792), both active in Dordrecht as glass engravers in the second quarter of the 18th century. Nos. 1, 2, and 4 by Greenwood, nos. 3 and 5 by Schouman: 1. Man laughing, holding a berkemeyer, 1743, on loan from the Koninklijk Oudheidkundig Genootschap; 2. Galloping horse after Antonio Tempesta, 1722; 3. Portrait of Stadholder Prince William IV, 1750; 4. Portrait of a man wearing a soft hat, 1724; 5. Portrait of a man with a jug, 1751.
