About this work
Flat bottom. Octagonal body, flat shoulder, and a low mouth with cut screw thread. On the broad sides, two rhombus-shaped inlaid medallions with a cupid and two doves in gold leaf, engraving, and red transparent lacquer painting. Below and above the rhombuses, stylized foliate ornament in radial engraving, with a flower branch at the corners. Glue rims around the medallions.
