About this work
The round, bowl-shaped dish rests on a straight-sided foot ring. The vaulted interior has a round elevation in the center. The space between this elevation and the vaulted bottom attached within the foot ring is hollow. The bottom is soldered not only along the outer edge but also secured with a screw. On the underside of the bottom is a monogram, probably of the letters TPdL, engraved.
