About this work
Key presumably used as a hanging sign. The round openwork handle is formed by leaf scrolls enclosing the letters A.B. and below them the year 1688. It is crowned by a small eye. The shaft is screw-shaped twisted up to the disc-shaped key bow and then continues into a smooth section.
