About this work
Key whose handle consists of two S-scrolls enclosing an oval, surmounted by a crossbar bearing two small S-scrolls cutting diagonally towards each other and a lock plate with a point. The handle rests on a Doric capital beneath which is a round capital with vertical fluted lines.
