About this work

Copper plaque, decorated with enamel. In the oval center the Annunciation is depicted with Mary kneeling on the left before a book. She turns around to the back, where on the right the angel arrives on a cloud with a lily in his right hand. At the top God the Father appears from the clouds with the dove beneath him. The black rim is decorated with white leaf scrolls.
