About this work
Symbolic key of the city of Bremen. The key head or handle of tin is formed by a downward-facing C-scroll with two lions standing on their hind legs inside it and in their midst the crowned city coat of arms with the key of Bremen. The hollow shank is of copper, to which the openwork, tin bit is attached. This is square in shape, with four angular scrolls springing from the central axis. The key is kept in the corresponding case (BK-KOG-2349-2).
