About this work
Round dish of multicolored painted faience, with a Chinese man and woman in a garden on the flat. The rim is divided into eight wide compartments. In four compartments a seated man is depicted, in the other four compartments flowers. Between each wide compartment is a narrow compartment with a floral motif. The decorations are in the colors blue, green, yellow and brown. On the back is the number 3.
