Men's shirt of linen with long sleeves with cuffs and split with jabot. The neck split has a jabot and ends in a triangle of needle lace stitches. The jabot of finer linen is gathered on a coarse linen band, making it easy to remove and insert. Under the collar, which closes with an embroidered button and horizontal buttonhole, the fabric is gathered very loosely and reinforced with two shoulder pieces and a triangular insert at the neck. The long sleeve is gathered loosely at the shoulder and set smoothly at the wrist and has a cuff of finer linen. The armhole is very wide and shows an inserted triangle at the bottom. The two side slits, from the selvage, are reinforced with a trim (presumably restored).
