About this work

Fragment of a ribbed, narrow jug (Jacob's jug) of stoneware on a wavy foot with an egg-shaped body and long neck. The rim is missing. The belly is pinched. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck. The jug is decorated with turning rings and a profile on the shoulder. The upper part of the belly is smoothed.
