About this work

Fragment of a jug (schnelle) of stoneware with relief decoration consisting of printed and applied elements. On the sherd part of a representation and an inscription carried by two men are visible. The inscription reads 'EVANGELIVM MATTHAEI AM XX CAPITEL'. Siegburg.
