Stoneware jug on a high foot with a cylindrical body, rounded shoulder, and wide, ribbed neck. Profiles on the body and foot. Covered with a brown engobe. On the belly in relief a printed and applied band with arches. Under the first arch are depicted musicians, the other arches with a dancing couple. In the second compartment from the left the date '1597'. Under the band the inscription 'GERHET DV MVS DAPER BLASEN SO DANSSEN DI BVREN ALS WEREN SI RASEN FRS VF SPRICHT BASTOR ICH VER DANS DI K[...]'. The lower part of the belly slopes obliquely to the foot and has incised compartments. On the shoulder incised arches with rosettes. Raeren.
