About this work
Two door panels of walnut in an originally polychromed oak window. The doors feature openwork symmetric acanthus vines with flowers and putti, who blow horns, carry fruit clusters or hold wreaths of flowers; in the center, a seated eagle and a putto on a festoon. Belonging to two panels (inv. no. BK-KOG-594-B) and a frieze (BK-KOG-594-C). The whole is probably from a cabinet or wainscoting.
