About this work
Curtain of blue silk with embroidery in silk and gold-colored metal thread in Chinese style. Possibly embroidered in China. Dark blue ground with floral motifs, animals and mythical creatures in pointed ovals of metal thread. Fitted with five brass rings at the top, decorated with fringes along two sides. One brass ring is missing. Lined.
