About this work
Jug (bearded man jug) of stoneware on a ring foot with an egg-shaped body and wide neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles and incised wavy lines on the neck. The body is decorated with spiral rings and three times in relief a pressed and applied medallion with a coat of arms. In two of them the coat of arms of England, with the date '1660' in the central medallion. The third crowned coat of arms shows a lion. On the neck, continuing onto the shoulder, a bearded man.
