About this work
Plate on a footring, with a scalloped rim. Decorated in blue underglaze in the style of Kraak porcelain, with a duck on the riverbank and flowering plants. The walls are divided into broad and narrow panels, filled with flowers, butterflies, and symbols. The reverse of the wall is painted with large panels filled with flowering branches.
