Armchair upholstered in silk velvet

One of eleven chairs, comprising four armchairs (13-A to D) and seven side chairs (13-E to K), made of walnut; legs, front rail, and H-shaped stretcher decorated with narrow and wide spiral fluting; curved armrests ending in a volute with rosette and acanthus leaf carving. Seat and back upholstered on a brown-painted paper base, padded with soft filling and linen; covered with grey-green silk velvet, trimmed with passementerie; a broad yellow band along the contours of the back and seat; a narrow band with tassels of cream-colored silk around the seat and at the bottom of the back, as well as a thin yellow band with open fringes hanging in shells.
