About this work
Book, bound in brown leather with metal sheen, with front board (unusual split binding); edges all around speckled red/blue, five gatherings of four leaves, last gathering six leaves. Recto pages pasted on one side with eighteen prints, details cut from etchings by Willem Swidde, series Vues de Versailles (Hollstein 20-106), published in Amsterdam by Nicolas Visscher; cut without logical order from different plates.
